Maria Sol
Bead jewellery & chainmail
Helmikorupaja ja ketjupanssaripaja Espoossa. Maria visits Otaniemi tech offices and Tapiola corporates regularly. Bead jewellery for hen parties; chainmail rewards engineering teams.
Valo R.
Candle making
Kynttiläpaja Espoossa. Valo brings the wax, wicks, and scent materials to your office. Calmer pace, popular for year-end and pre-Christmas team events in Tapiola.
Patrik (visiting)
Chainmail
Patrik teaches chainmail in the capital region on rotating dates from Copenhagen. Useful when group sizes outgrow what one master can hold.
Other crafts (ceramics, painting, analog photography, textile arts, Nordic cooking) are on our open-invitation list — masters joining the platform through 2026. About Elven Crafts
Why Espoo for craft experiences?
Espoo is Finland's second-largest city and home to one of northern Europe's densest tech corridors. Otaniemi alone hosts Aalto University, Nokia, Microsoft Finland, Tieto, Ericsson, and a few hundred startups in between. Tapiola is the corporate centre proper. Leppävaara, Suurpelto, and Matinkylä cover the western arc. We bring craft workshops to your team wherever you are along this corridor, and you skip the drive into Helsinki centre on a Friday afternoon.
Popular workshop types in Espoo

Corporate team building in Otaniemi and Tapiola
Two of our recent corporate inquiries originated in Espoo: a daycare network running their teacher tiimipäivä, and a software company running an offsite for their product team. Different industries, same need. The artisan brings everything to your office; you supply a meeting room with tables, and optionally drinks. The whole event runs 2–3 hours and ends with everyone holding something they made.
Packages from €45/person for groups of 6 to 80. Single invoice with Finnish VAT (ALV 25.5%). Y-tunnus on every quote. We bill Finnish entities directly and accept e-invoicing (verkkolasku) on request.
Workshop locations across Espoo
- Otaniemi: tech-corridor offices, Aalto venues, the science campus. Most demand from this area.
- Tapiola: corporate HQs, the modern garden-city centre. Easy parking for catered offsites.
- Leppävaara: commercial spaces around Sello, hotel meeting rooms.
- Suurpelto: newer residential and business area, larger meeting rooms common.
- Matinkylä & Espoonlahti: west and coastal Espoo, daycare and school networks book here regularly.
- Outdoors (summer): Nuuksio National Park, Haukilahti beach, Espoonlahti shore. The artisan brings blankets, you bring the picnic.
Hen parties (polttarit) and celebrations in Espoo
Polttarit and birthday workshops happen at home, at a rented cabin near Nuuksio, or at a friend's place in Tapiola. From €55/person for jewelry-making, more for ceramics or cocktail-craft combos. The artisan drives, brings everything, and packs out. You supply the company.
Espoo or Helsinki?
For pricing, the same. For travel time, Espoo offices save their team the cross-city drive. For atmosphere, Espoo skews calmer and more office-friendly; Helsinki centre is louder and more public. Both work for the same kinds of events. Pick by who's travelling.
